Angela Guinta is a clothing line based in Chicago. The brand is driven by fluid, inventive shape using precise draping techniques. The research and development process plays an essential role in Angela’s artistic practice. She is inspired by mood, movement and interaction. Angela goes back into each sample forming the lines, intersections and collaged elements that compose gestural silhouettes to flow with the body. The clothing is reminiscent of luxurious loungewear with an elegant and sophisticated attitude. Angela Guinta aims to produce skillfully crafted clothing that is as thoughtful as it is effortless.

About The Designer...

Angela Guinta graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in Fashion Design and Pattern Making. She currently works out of her studio in Chicago growing her business as a designer as well as a pattern maker. After graduation, Angela was hired as a Technical Designer at OnPoint Patterns, a fashion software based company that specializes in digitizing, grading and marker making.
